The 21st Annual Singspiration
Matt Wilder will join us on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
The programs will be at 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Matt Wilder recites Scripture accompanied by original piano music and self-arranged hymn renditions for worship and reflection on God’s Word. The aim is to glorify God, serve the Body of Christ, and reach the world for Jesus.
At 11:00 AM Matt will present “Journey through Hebrews,” a musical journey through Hebrews chapters 9-13 including a gospel presentation and familiar Christian hymns like “How Great Thou Art.”
At 6:00 PM he will present “Word of Life” which journeys through selections of the first six chapters of John’s Gospel in spoken word and piano music. Included in the program are unique and original hymn arrangements like “It is Well with My Soul” and “A Mighty Fortress is our God.”
This is a free event, open to the community.
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16).
Matt was raised as a Mormon, but the weight of a works-based system, and the simple question pushed him toward the gospel of grace: "Why can't what Jesus did on the cross be enough for you?" You'll hear how Hebrews 9 reshaped his understanding of assurance, how memorized Scripture now comes out naturally in ministry conversations, and why internalizing larger sections of the Bible has become a key part of his walk with Christ.

Matt and his family have been members of Winter Garden's First Baptist since 2017. He is involved in various ministries at his local church: small group, students, and worship. Matt's piano ministry wouldn't be possible without the loving support of his wife, Nicole, and their daughter, Tessa. Nicole teaches at Foundation Academy, a ministry of Winter Garden's First Baptist Church. Matt is a full-time Uber driver.
